She frames other people's love stories; he writes other people's adventures.
When photographer Nari Valera and travel journalist Everest Vale team up to show the real Havenbrook, they discover that some moments are too raw and too real to hide behind a lens.
Nari Valera spends her days capturing other people's joy against Havenbrook's lighthouse, wildflower meadows and secret courtyards. Her lens is her shield, a way to keep the world, and its disappointments, at a safe distance. Everything changes when a call comes from Everest Vale, a world-weary travel columnist for Carte Blanche Traveler magazine, who arrives in Havenbrook to expose the truth behind its curated charm.
Their first meeting at the Sunrise Brew Café crackles with tension; Nari distrusts journalists, and Everest is more used to passing through towns than staying. Yet Everest convinces her to give him the local's tour and, as summer unfurls, they explore cobbled alleys, hidden courtyards and rose-clad secret gardens. Nari reveals the stories behind every brick and blossom, and Everest, who built his career on exposing myths, finds himself wanting to protect the very place he came to critique.
Their partnership deepens just as Nari receives devastating news: her gallery exhibition deadline has been moved up two weeks. Overwhelmed, she has five pieces left to shoot, print and frame. Everest, who has survived tight deadlines and malaria in far-flung countries, offers to help. As they race against time—climbing hills for the perfect golden light, interviewing elderly locals and capturing the town's soul—feelings neither of them expected begin to bloom.
But Havenbrook isn't free of complications. Nari's renowned ex, Finn Blackwood, returns, stirring up old wounds and professional temptation. Everest's editor demands a hard-hitting exposé, threatening to pull him away. And Nari must decide whether to share the truth about her past and the ring she still wears. When career opportunities on opposite sides of the globe beckon, both will have to choose: capture fleeting beauty from a distance, or stand inside the frame and fight for a love worth staying for.
Get ready for a cozy escape full of heart-warming romance and seaside charm, perfect for fans of Emily Henry, Jenny Colgan, Tessa Bailey, and anyone who believes the most beautiful moments can't be posed.

FAQs
FAQs

What I loved most about this book was how the romance was woven into the larger story of community revitalization. Nari isn't just changing Everest's mind about design - she's helping preserve what makes Havenbrook special while making it better. Everest Vale isn't just resisting change - he's protecting something precious. Their love story becomes part of the neighborhood's story. The supporting characters feel like real people with their own hopes and concerns. This is romance with heart and substance.
Nari Valera is my new book girlfriend! Her determination to honor the community's history while bringing modern solutions was inspiring. Everest Vale's initial resistance to her ideas felt realistic - not manufactured conflict. Their chemistry is off the charts, and I loved how their professional collaboration deepened their personal connection. The side plot with the community garden was a nice touch. My only complaint is that I wanted more time with these characters. The epilogue was perfect though - showing them working together both professionally and personally.
Nari Valera has quickly become one of my favorite heroines! Her fish-out-of-water situation in Havenbrook was handled with such nuance - she's not trying to change everything, just bring her expertise to help. Everest's initial suspicion felt realistic given his history with developers. Watching them learn from each other was beautiful. The community center renovation serves as the perfect backdrop for their relationship. The love scenes are tasteful but definitely steamy. I'm already hoping for books about the other characters!
Framed with Love delivers everything I want in a contemporary romance - a strong heroine, a swoon-worthy hero, and a community you want to live in. Nari's dedication to preserving Havenbrook's character while modernizing it mirrors her own journey perfectly. Everest's passion for his craft and his community made me fall for him hard. The love scenes are beautifully written - emotional and steamy without being gratuitous. The supporting cast adds such warmth to the story. I'm hoping for more books set in Havenbrook!
This book hits every romance note perfectly! Nari's competence and vulnerability make her incredibly relatable. Everest's protectiveness of his community and gradual opening to new ideas creates wonderful character growth. Their professional collaboration becoming personal connection felt so natural. I loved the details about historical preservation and sustainable building - it's clear the author did their research. The Havenbrook community members feel authentic, each with their own personality. The romantic resolution is deeply satisfying. Can't wait for the next book!
